Before the measles vaccine was introduced in 1963, the U.S. saw ~3-4 million cases/yr. Now, it’s < 200 in a normal year. The vaccine works. 

Measles is HIGHLY contagious—up to 9 out of 10 people who are susceptible will get the virus if exposed. While most ppl recover, #measles can lead to dangerous ⚠️ complications like pneumonia, blindness, brain swelling & death. There’s no link btwn the vaccine and autism. Pls vaccinate your kids and protect your communities.
