@lunarised yeah but like, just play on a private server, classic kinda lost its meaning since cata classic came out, the whole point was pre cata wow

@lina hmmm, I see your point, but also I think MoP was the first of a mid era of wow. I consider MoP to be the hardest expac released

@lunarised which is kinda ironic how everyone called it the casual expac cuz it was just kung fu panda but in wow

@lunarised but tbh, legion was the last good expansion, i'd say it was up there with wotlk for me, it was just pure fan service for lorefags, the broken isles, the silver hand reformed, major lore figures making appearances like alonsus faol, class fantasy almost restored, the burning legion finally being the main villain after years of old gods and other dumb shit, good old fashioned demon killing, full on class mounts, dalaran
sure it had its downsides like every fucking jackass getting THE ASHBRINGER and other legendary weapons, but that can either be ignored as you tend to ignore everyone else in modern wow, or the artifact weapons could be added as extremely souped up legendary weapons that you have to do an extremely difficult quest chain, think the challenge artifact skins scenarios, that would test all of your skills with your class and spec to the max
after legion wow just took a massive fucking nosedive and got gored upon the stalagmites into a fucking perforated mess and then it was dragged across them and raped

@lina Idk, I really dont mind any of the expacs post MoP. I enjoyed the Arcadeness of procs in BFA, I enjoyed the PVP systems in Shadowlands, and I think overall, Dragonflight was primo

@lunarised the lore was completely thrown to shit after legion, the story was pretty much over by that point, the biggest fucking villain of the entire story was banished forever, there was no reason to keep it going after that as a story, if it wasn't a moneyprinting mmorpg it'd end on legion

@lunarised without the lore, what's the point to even play a game that was built on exploring the lore of an RTS series?
