     [2/2] justifies the terms "fascist" and "coup". The Guantanamo prison was a previous Republican president's excuse for disregarding human rights and the laws that protect some of them, even for people accused of grave crimes. Because it was outside the US, he could argue that it was a zone in which human rights did not apply. So it is natural that the persecutor would seek to put those he aims to persecute into Guantanamo prison as another way to evade the rule of law.
