@derek uff.. eight chargers! Was it a long-haul trip? Not enough fast chargers available?

@marsiposa yes and yes! Also, two chargers didn't work and one charger was exclusively for Tesla users.

I consider our electric car journey a success, even though we had a bit of a detour and a few charging scares.
We are still at the ragged beginning of the charging network building out, and there was plenty of demand for the fast chargers that are critical for cross-state travel.
But we did it! We drove from Connecticut to Vermont with only a single charge on the way (stopping over at a restaurant). Our hotel charged the car. The journey back was longer but successful. I'm happy.

@derek ack, broken chargers make the best plans go awry. Were they just malfunctioning or had they been vandalized? Here around Seattle is a mine-field. People cut the cables supposedly to sell the copper (I think there is more to it, though).
Do you use PlugShare? I think you can hide the Tesla chargers so you don't waste your time.
I'm glad you made it.
