It's really annoying. When I was learning the new passphrase for this computer, I kept making a mistake after the first three letters, so I'd start over. I did that so many times that the mistake is now "part" of my passphrase, and it's hard to type my passphrase WITHOUT making the mistake first before starting over and typing it correctly.

@feld Back when typing unix passwords, I would sometimes joke and just type a long stream of jiberish, then in the middle type ctrl-u, then type the password. for people who aren't aware they might mistake the ctrl-u as a cap U, and think I have a much longer password than I really do. ;p
