@Julianoe @wood5y Indeed. Ten years ago or so I was speaking at Ouishare, one of the European “sharing economy” kumbaya-style conferences where they were setting up AirBnB, etc., as being almost altruistic, and I rememebr telling them something along the lines of: You keep telling people no one’s going to own anything, we’re all just going to rent want we need. So I ask you: rent from whom? Oh, right… from the very tiny handful of people who end up owning everything.
They were not impressed.
