@intransitivelie I think I genuinely do want a revolution but not in the way that people probably assume if I just say "I want a revolution."
I want to put something better up *before* tearing these shitty systems down. That's a lot of work, WAY more work than killing billionaires etc, and a lot of people don't seem too enthused. But if all we do is the violent part without helping wean people's dependence on capitalism, all that makes is even more suffering :/

@intransitivelie basically, if anyone says they want a revolution but they aren't also doing everything they can to prop up mutual aid and community resilience, they probably just want to commit some violence without feeling bad about it 🤷 but hey, we'll need our Mario Brothers too. We all have parts we can play in a better future. But violence alone won't actually ease the suffering of the marginalized or of the working class
