Quick remark on #google analytics: It is not true, that every medium/small business in Germany uses it or depends on it. There are many influential CEOs of provider and marketing companies, who decided to hire experts and to develop own tools.

My website is one example: I put a curb on the influence, implemented control elements only to keep the system running in the US. I worked for a SEO agency in Hamburg (not by accident of course), so I could gather insights in practices. I'm not done yet.
