   @SaanichGuy @davidaugust Have you ever opened the hood of your car, looked at the engine and thought “I don’t know what this part does. I think I’ll take it out and see if the car still runs”? How about a computer? You open it up and say “I don’t know what this chip does. I’m gonna remove it and see if the computer still works.”? Funny how we don’t do this in other parts of life.

   But these fools look at the US government and they’re like “I don’t know what this department does. Let’s fire them all and see if it matters.”

   Stupid. Just stupid. #uspol #trump

     People thinking that running a nation's government is simple is crazy.

     330,000,000 people
     ~6 times zones
     3,796,743 square miles
     wildly complex issues facing it daily

     But takes like an afternoon to learn how to run it? Yeah no...I don't think so.

     @davidaugust @paco @SaanichGuy I read a biography of Hitler once where the author argued he and cronies had never had skilled jobs (and I don't master craftsman level skill) therefore they were unaware of the value of skill and knowledge in any job. Cue a few decades of minimum wage freeze, demonising "unskilled work" and we seem to have politicians with the same attitude/ blind spot.
