   Amazing how AV1 video is bringing every laptop in the house to its knees. I thought some of them supported hardware decode but that must've been a lie.

     @idiot If you use a garbage decoder, it will bring any computer to its knees.
     
     You want to use the free software dav1d decoder, as that decodes AV1 video just fine even on GNUbootable thinkpads.
