    Lazyweb, how do you get the actual honest *download link* for something on Flathub?

    I do not want to add a remote and have the flatpak command dynamically download it. I want a file I actually permanently own and can copy to any non-networked machine that will never be auto updated or anything.

      @error420 Ultimately what I want to do is run them without the flatpak runtime. Setting up appropriate sandbox without their software. But they won't even give the damn download URLs for the packages they host...

      If nobody knows guess I need to RTFS the client source...

      @dalias flatpaks dont auto update by default

      you can run flatpak mask [full package name in xyz.developer.app format] after installing it to make it not get updates when you run flatpak update

      @error420 That's the flatpakref not the actual flatpak.

      Running w/o flatpak is not impossible, just nobody is doing it. That's what I'm trying to fix.

      @dalias if you right click the install button you can copy the download link for the flatpakref

      running flatpaks wo flatpak is impossible, use a distro package or appimage
