     @dansup maybe that’s because peertube aims to be actually useful software and not a clone of a brainrot-inducing service that should ideally never exist. not caring about growth for the sake of growth is good, actually

     @mkljczk It should already be apparent to you, but people are not using PeerTube like you would expect, they upload videos to Pixelfed and Mastodon.

     A video only platform is hard to grow, unless you know what you're doing.

     @talou @Chocobozzz Video is video, the length isn't that relevant considering you can upload short videos to PeerTube, but I digress.

     Choco built an amazing platform, but got burned out by the fedi drama in 2022 iirc

     @dansup This is not the same domain. Short vids are something different.
     And BTW there are multiple projects on same segments for activitypub (lemmy/kabin, mastodon/pleroma...)
     Oh and #peertube was also developped by a solo person, @Chocobozzz hired by Framasoft french foundation ;)
