I am looking at buying a new stove. Many of the options are “smart” and wifi enabled. I don’t think my stove needs this, nor should it be part of a large-scale DDS attack due to un-updated firmware.
Is this something I can disable when I get it home?
Am I just a luddite?

I did some digging, you can turn off the wifi for this model. But you can’t use some of the features, like the convection cooking feature, without first setting it up on wifi.
