     I closed all windows in profanity and it exited me from group chat and now won't let me join again. this stuff is all junk

     profanity seems to be completely broken. it would create a new room with no name, but attempting to create a room with a name fails.

     @istvan it's Prosody. Profanity can create new rooms and it recognizes the room I already created. it seems to be several Profanity problems.

     @sun Are you hosting your own XMPP server? It might not be the client alone. Some of the XMPP server implementations are a fucking disaster, especially when it comes to creating and managing MUCs.

     @sun I run Prosody too and had nothing but headaches trying to create a MUC. Finally had to give up and just be happy at least user accounts worked and I could join MUCs on other servers.

     @sun I have no idea how the MUCs that are out there work or what they run on since they all seem to have features not in Prosody.

     It must be magic, and that would explain why there are so few of them and why XMPP is fucking dead outside of turbo-sperg communities (read: every MUC I'm active in).
