   #WritersCoffeeClub 11. How do you market your work?

   I'm an SF/F writer who predates ebooks. Back in the day I did a lot of SF conventions, signed stock in bookshops, and ran a high traffic blog. "Back in the day" means 10-25 years ago. I have *no idea* how things work these days! However, I'm trad-published by Tor and Orbit, translated into numerous languages, and my name on the cover is bigger than the book title—I sometimes hit the bestseller charts. So "returning satisfied customers" works.

     (My local sci-fi book shop no longer carry Stross, unfortunately, but I have asked them to do a special import for me).
