If I stay in a hotel for a single night, I sometimes won't use the shower, but I always turn on the water and spray it around and wet the towels and leave them in a heap on the floor to make it look like I did.

@dshan @fesshole it's widely customary for towels left on the floor or in the bath to be laundered and hanging towels to be left for reuse (unless the room is being prepared for the next guest).

@fesshole Why do people (apparently quite a few) leave towels on the floor in hotels? It's the weirdest habit. Why do something like this that you'd presumably not do at home in a hotel? What do you get out of it? Why create a trip hazard? How hard is it to hang them up like a normal human being?
