   Yesterday, I had Discord update during a call, log me out, and then start crashing afterwards. I do not get why commercial software companies just cannot bring themselves to test things any more.

     Like yeah, open source software has its usability issues and game-breaking bugs, but dear maths, I wish commercial software could just meet the bare baseline of usability that the FOSS alternatives seem to have no trouble meeting with 1% the budget and dev time.

     Emojis in Zoom started working again, but now the camera only works if I turn it off and back on again.

     Signal and Element do none of this nonsense.

     I don't want to need to be a computer-toucher to use the same commercial software that everyone forces on me, but I need to be for some reason. I don't get it.
