...I'd like to remind everyone that the job of "Winston Smith" in the novel "1984" was to remove words from the English #language.
The People were told it was to "streamline" language, but in fact, it was a means of CONTROL, b/c when you lack the words to express yourself, the people are easier to control. #Fascism #FascistInChief

The list of prohibited words is kinda bonkers, not least of which because it totally ignores the fact that some of these are actually technical terms of art in intel gathering and cybersecurity. For example: "confirmation bias," "privilege," "equity."
