People want to know what some of the red flags were before I found out this dude was MAGA.
The 1st is the dude is from Alaska but had a Confederate Flag tattoo that he hides because he knows what it means.
The 2nd is the cringe I get when he's bickering with his wife. I can't put my finger on it but it is extremely triggering to me. It is how my father is disrespectful to my mother. My brother does this shit, my wife's brother does this shit, and this dude.

The 3rd was that he is a Libertarian. That should be self-explanatory (seriously).
The 4th was when he told me about when he was a teenager how he wanted to join the Army so he could kill Russians. (Remember, this is HIM telling this story.) His mom's best friend is/was Russian and asked him if he would kill her, and he looked at her, smirked and shrugged (as he mimed it to me) implying that the answer was, "yes." 20 years later, he's still proud of it.

The 5th was as subtle as #2, but his wife seems to have a bit of disdain for him. I found out afterwards that he has a daughter that has very limited contact with him, but is still talking to the mom. 2 and 5 are likely related.
The 6th was when he wanted to show me his guns. This is when my spidey senses really kicked in, because it became very apparent that he was desperate to be my friend. There was some agenda. (Two guns is not a collection, a tricked out AR-15 and a Vector "Pistol")

Now, ever since I was a teenager, I've ALWAYS been recruited by EVERY congregation out there. No joke. I was definitely Agnostic and leaning toward Atheism, but living rural Texas, you keep that shit to yourself.
The only correct answer to "Do you know Jesus Christ?" is to answer, "Yes" and keep on going.
But being #Autistic means that I can't see people manipulating me and using me. They exploit my talents and skills, my honor and reputation, and my kindness/stupidity.

Now that I'm over 50, I have lots of traumas from people exploiting me.
The 7th flag is when he talked about how he wanted to partner up with me to do a new cannabis event. There it is.
So that last one was the final straw and I let them know I was going to take a step back, after several days of reflection on everything that transpired over the previous two weeks.
When I honestly laid out that I was going to step back, he blew up. Can you believe it?

A lot of the heebeegeebees and triggering comes from having ANOTHER friend in the past that went MAGA and when they did very blatantly racist shit (and other friends called it out on MY fucking post) and basically said, "Don't do or say racist shit and you won't be called out for racism."
End result is that this asshole spread my address all over the internet telling everyone I'm a pedophile.
This new dude was giving me a lot of same vibes and he fucking has my address.

So I'm looking at purchasing a S&W Bodyguard 2.0 .380 ACP and some other PCC for the house.
I've been around guns all my life but haven't owned my own (though I will inherit two or more collections in the future).
This is mostly because of my depression.
But now I have people I need to protect from fucking lunatics who feel entitled to my time/presence/friendship????
So: PCC - 9mm. First hurdle is Glock magazines or CZ Scorpion magazines?
