Seriously speaking, it’s 2025 and we are all still depending on monolitic kernels written in unsafe languages and hardware support is still exposing the same problem we had 30 years ago.

@mmu_man @pancake Well given how much of Linux just seems to move drivers and other hardware management software around between userland and kernel land, yeah.
Makes me want to give systems like HelenOS and Genode honest baremetal tests.
