@cs Yep, I just mentioned that even if that particular game is mostly offline, you need a subscription to even play it due to its always on connection.
It's one of the reasons why I mostly stepped back from console gaming and focus on PC and retro gaming.
It seems that one of the key problems for many users is not the lack of online play, but it’s DRM that requires connectivity in order to play games already purchased and downloaded. That would be very frustrating. I get it in some ways. But you’d think the system would be somewhat resilient to outages. Like only have to check in periodically or something like that.
