I did write a letter to #Warren, #Markey, and #Pressley demanding that they do something about #HeadStart programs being denied access to funds.      I sent https://resist.bot/petitions/PARLVP to #Warren #Markey and #Pressley via @resistbot, about how horrified I am to watch Trump and the GOP rolling back human rights, asking them to obstruct every step of the way and get the word out about what's happening and who's doing it to sway public opinion.
     Please write and call your reps daily (you can use my letter above!) until we've successfully beaten back the coup. We need to keep the pressure on so they do.

     I didn't have any trouble getting through to my Senators and Representative by phone today, so either they've added capacity to the Congressional telephone system to handle the increased load, or fewer people are calling.
     I hope it's not the latter, but just in case it is, please call, today and every day until the Trump coup is permanently beaten back!

     I sent a letter to #Warren, #Markey, and #Pressley via @resistbot, https://resist.bot/petitions/PDWBPU, thanking the Democrats in the Senate for fillibustering #RussellVought and encouraging the caucus to continue to do everything they can to oppose #Trump.
     I also called and left messages for all three in which I said basically the same thing.
     You should be contacting your reps daily too! You can use the link above to do it if you'd like.

     I asked my Sens. and Rep. to address the reduction in NIH funding that went into effect over the weekend, which will have a catastrophically negative impact on medical research.
     Then I called them all and asked for the same thing. On the call I also complained that I'm on their email lists so why aren't I receiving daily updates about what's going on and what they're doing about it? They need to communicate with constituents more.

     I didn't actually write to my reps today, I called them all to invite them, on behalf of Federal Workers Against DOGE, to speak at the rally we're organizing at HHS HQ this Friday. I hope at least one of them takes us to on the offer!

     I asked my U.S. Senators and Representative why the heck they aren't emailing me daily. I subscribed to their mailing lists nine days ago and haven't heard anything from them since. What the heck?
