     @lain Font rendering in general seems like something thats super simple but the reality is that theres so many issues with it

     @xian it's especially insane because i wrote a web client for musikcube that does those two things in under two days, so it's not like it's impossible

     @lain it took so long for a good self-hosted music server / app to appear that did both gapless playback and offline download, its kinda mindboggling
