     @sun The best part about the alarmism is that if ANYONE is going to keep their git website up, it's github. Too much vested interest -- mostly money, arguably the reward of being the quasi-monopoly, among others -- in keeping people coming back. Plus, Microsoft might be clowns in every other aspect, but if anyone's going to keep the lights on for that sweet four-digits-of-uptime percentile, it's Microsoft. Myself included, God knows where my personal server will be in ten years.
     If you're not going to use github, don't be delusional in thinking Nutella's going to wake up on the wrong side of the bed one morning and enact total freetard death.
