Good morning from Tokyo!
"The Reader" is a photo I took at Kenninji. The oldest Zen temple in Kyoto has beautiful halls, gardens, paintings of dragons, and a gilded folding screen adorned with a famous image of the wind and thunder gods.

1. At one of the main halls of Kenninji Temple in Kyoto, Japan, an elderly man wearing a hat is seated on a bench and reading a book. He is seen from a position inside the tatami-floored hall, between Japanese-style sliding doors that are partially open, and allow a view towards a green Japanese garden. We can also see some of the hall's historic interior wooden architecture details.
