And apparently, the fact that all this has happened before does nothing to change that. It's precisely what German writer Erich Kästner said: "What happened between 1933 and 1945 should have been stopped no later than 1928. One shouldn't wait until the snowball has turned into an avalanche. The rolling snowball should be crushed since we're all powerless against an avalanche".
