   The flagrant lawbreaking by Trump, Musk et al is not, as Big Journalism says in its standard timid way, merely a push to expand presidential power.

   It is testing whether there are ANY limits to presidential power whatsoever. It is testing whether Trump is king.

   Why can't journalists get this?

     @dangillmor It took a mere 53 days for Hitler & the Nazi Party to dismantle german democracy in 1933.

     Also in 1933 the press was busy downplaying it, papers talking about ”moderate nazis” objecting to such moves.

     Sounds way too familiar to me..
