USA says that Canada spends too little on defence, and that the U.S. carries too much of the financial burden for North American Aerospace Defense Command Remember the Avro Arrow? It was too good and is suggested that US interests were a factor in Diefenbaker's cancellation. Now we know what we can do, we just need to do it. If Sweden's Saab can produce the Gripen can't we do something better?
