Just called my Rep, Nancy #Pelosi.
I just learned from Reuters & it was confirmed by Sen Wyden that Elon Musk & his NON-FEDERAL employees have taken control of the federal payment system, which means they can stop checks to any private individual in the country including my Medicare & social security payments.
This is unacceptable & needs to be stopped immediately!
PLEASE call for an emergency hearing to stop this & investigate.
Make a HUGE deal out of this on SM NOW!

@cavyherd HA! I do that too! One thing I have learned about most voice mail systems have a way to erase and rerecord a message. (often pushing the * star button will give your the process. Sometimes I spend 6 minutes & 2 or 3 tries to get it right.)

One of the things I learned from the very effective Indivisible groups is that Congressional offices keep track & notice certain types of actions. One of them is phone calls.
What I did before I called was make a short script that connected my concerns as a constituent to their committees.
I also told them the action that I would like them to take.
This gives the staff a way to categorize the ask & an action that I want them to take.

They need to make it stop first and then hold investigations. This can't be Government as usual. What Musk's employees are doing is illegal and dangerous in multiple ways.
I told my Senators to use their positions on their various committees to call for hearings. Even though they aren't in charge of the committees, they can make a BIG DEAL about what's happening.
