   BETRAYAL.

   The United States has just demonstrated that there is no ally they will not betray. No agreement they will not unilaterally break. No act of friendship they will honour.

   A vast majority of you, the American public enabled tonight's tragedy. You were told point blank by your president that this was his plan and you voted for it anyway.

   I'm not even angry, I'm just profoundly sad. It is a new and terrible era and now it will directly impact us all.

     An Australian here, commenting in disbelief: the US as a "rabid dog" is a good description, & great analogy for previous longstanding partners to have the same amount of trust as anyone doing a drug deal, i.e. none. What sort of way is that to do business? 😯

     What will the #Consequences be?
