@m @ellyxir @kinetix Also push notifications only happen with the "Chatmail" servers. When you use other email servers it doesn't have the ability to detect and send the notifications so you have to wait for the app to check for mail updates in the background. -

@kinetix @m @ellyxir On iOS apps are more restricted. It will end up only being allowed to wake up once every 7 or 15 or 45 mins IIRC. -

@m@thias.hellqui.st @ellyxir@humanwords.cc @feld@friedcheese.us You can get pretty quick notifications even on normal mail setups (some? many? most?) by turning on the use and force background connections notification settings.
Works well in my setup. -
