     Well ... maybe it shouldn't?

     Because then you're still stuck in this logic of there having to be this thing that everybody's on

     For example, instagram sucks. Everyone is stylized and successful and beautiful. It makes me feel bad. Should we then build an open source version of something that makes people feel bad?

     Try rethink things and what works for your community. And that may be something super small, instead of the one-to-one replacement of such a big platform
