   Decentralization is hollow when only a handful of "official" instances dominate traffic and visibility. Instances like mastodon.social and mastodon.online, owned and operated by Mastodon gGmbH, form a centralized hub that filters and controls content under the guise of moderation.

     @GossiTheDog Exactly, even though you can host your own PDS you are still relying on the main bsky.network relay
