If only the #CDC quietly disappearing information about airborne transmission from their website had gotten anywhere near as much attention as what is happening now.

But, of course, what is happening now is being done by bad person we dislike, where what happened then was being done by good person we like, so the two circumstances are obviously different.

The problem, as always, is not what is being done, but that it is being done out loud. Quiet part is, as always, preferred.
