     He's fucked. Not only can he lose the job, he can be held liable for the difference between his price and the new contractors price to complete the work. He could also lose his license for abandonment of the job or if he fails to pay any judgment rendered. Contract work is no joke.

     I've taken more than a handful of contractors behind the woodshed. I've done defense work too.
