    What's the Prime Earth year of #StarTrek #Section31 S01E01? I'm assuming it was a few years after #StarTrekDiscovery jumped to the future (assuming the Emperor returned to the same time period)?

      @peregrine57 @billmason Yip, it's confusing when it's in the TOS period. I've seen some use a TOS-era calculator even for Discovery, and then switched to TNG calculator when Discovery jumped forward. 😅

      I'm thinking, the show didn't provide info because they got confused as well. 😂 But still, it's good to know where in the timeline the S31 movie was set, especially when the ex-Terran Emperor is involved.

      @peregrine57 @youronlyone People have counted stardates backward to the film's stardate to hit that year. I think that's dubious though it feels right with how old Garrett should be.

      The only hard date reference in the film AFAIK is the Minosian council screen during the mission brief, which in its text mentions a starship lost in 2314.

      @billmason @youronlyone I've heard people using online stardate calculators, but I'm not sure how that would work for dates in this era. Stardates were not really standardized before TNG S3~ish, and in TOS they were basically random. I've not heard if the current productions developed a system for Disco/SNW or not. Maybe they have.

      I kindof think it was Trekculture I heard 2324 from. Eh... close enough, I guess. Unless or until we get more media in that era, it's a broad target.

      @youronlyone Early 24th century, somewhere between 2314 and 2344.

      @billmason @youronlyone 2320s, I think. I seem to remember 2324 being mentioned somewhere.
