Image being unable to comprehend that for software to be professional, it cannot have any antifeatures that would cause it to stop working randomly and demand an account login or license key.
LibreOffice is plenty professional as it tends to actually work - the only issue you'll have is with Visual Basic scripts programmed for Excel or Word that rely on bugs to work (most users don't have such VB problem).
It appears that most of the count is windows or macos downloads, as most LiGNUx users just use a package manager, which doesn't get included in the count.
@libreoffice Why does the download page say "Linux", for GNU/Linux binaries?
@Scubyw If you tried it many years ago, then why not try it again 😉 It's difficult to chase the moving targets of Microsoft's .docx "transitional" format but we have hundreds of compatibility improvements in every major release...
@libreoffice I tried it (many) years ago and had difficulties with the conversion to .docx etc. I needed this in my communications with clients as not many (if any) were using Linux. Not sure if that problem still exists. At the time, it got to cumbersome and Microsoft 'forced me' to stick with office.
