Top/bottom is completely fake, femme/butch is mostly fake. The only lesbian dynamic that truly matters is body heat. A warm lesbian's playstyle will be completely different from that of a cold lesbian. These aren't fixed categories--every lesbian is sometimes warm and sometimes cold--but they apply in all forms of lesbianism, even when there's no physical touch involved.
