Oh my… wait, are they serious?
“thanks for spending $730. Here’s your cardboard stand.”

Is it part of the standard packaging materal (good ending) or a throw-in addon (bad ending)? -

I mean, it's a cool way to make normally 'straight to the bin' packing material into something useful... -

Seasons of Jason (killyourfm@layer8.space)'s status on Thursday, 30-Jan-2025 09:25:21 JST Seasons of Jason @Linux_in_a_Bit Agreed! I just wouldn't trust this thin and light cardboard to reliably hold a somewhat heavy device like this. That scares me!

Seasons of Jason (killyourfm@layer8.space)'s status on Thursday, 30-Jan-2025 09:31:40 JST Seasons of Jason For more context, this new model of the Legion Go S does *not* have the built-in kickstand.

Seasons of Jason (killyourfm@layer8.space)'s status on Thursday, 30-Jan-2025 10:06:26 JST Seasons of Jason This needs to be said: it's INFINITELY more comfortable than the Legion Go. It's barely a comparison. This Legion Go S feels like it was molded for my hands. Your palms just sink perfectly into the bottom corners.
Pure joy to hold. Vastly better than the ROG Ally, and on par with Steam Deck.

Seasons of Jason (killyourfm@layer8.space)'s status on Thursday, 30-Jan-2025 10:13:13 JST Seasons of Jason @Adam Hey Adam! This is the windows version. The SteamOS version launches in May and will be a black/dark violet color. BUT, SteamOS (and Bazzite, etc) should theoretically work on this model.
I'll be installing it :D
