     nix/guix/etc users: noooo you can't just bootstrap a whole architecture in less than an hour with a bunch of python!!! it needs to be bitwise reproducible and backed by pure functional declarative definitions noooooooo

     then you cross-compile main/base-cbuild, and then it can self-host

     crossbootstrap done and chimera loongarch64 now selfhosts (i.e. could rebuild self natively)...

     total time spent: ~2.5 hours (on an i7-1370p laptop)
     of that doing plumbing: ~15 minutes

     and that's as far as i'm taking it :)

     of course if someone sponsors a reasonable buildserver and its hosting, we can always put it in the fleet (@ariadne ? :))
