I've received my laptop from the repair shop few hours ago. The touchpad is actually working fine. Repair shop tested the machine with #Losedows and it probably didn't have the drivers. When I booted GNU/Linux and informed them that touchpad works fine, they were surprised.

@redstarfish windows ships with almost no drivers, so if you don't have an internet connection and plug in a decent Wi-Fi card or try to use some kind of touchpards, you find that the hardware doesn't work.
Meanwhile if you boot up Trisquel GNU/Linux-libre, you find that *all* the free software drivers have been included.
