  In the last few years I've gotten the urge to get challenging skills that take time to get good at and that I enjoy and not just something I have to do for a job.
  Mostly because you shouldn't stop being awesome and it would be boring to not be the most interesting man in the room.
  That's a good trait boomers have over younger people, a lot of them don't quit, even when they are past prime.

  The idea of a midlife crisis is overblown too. Like yeah, you start to realize how dumb you used to be and have some regrets but not everyone feels the need to have a second adolescence.
  I think it's the people who have been living repressed and got fomo cuz the clock is ticking.
