   The Trump Office of Management and Budget has instructed all USA Federal agencies to stop funding all external activities, including science grants to universities and research institutes. There were people reporting NSF review panels on Monday being postponed, which was surprising, but this is everything. Archive link to Washington Post article below. #USA_politics

     @FizzyWhiskey I think it also includes grants to state, local, and tribal governments.

     @EricFielding This impacts every institution, organization or non-profit receiving federal funds for anything. This is criminal and includes funding that has already been promised, approved, and allocated. The oligarchs are extracting as much wealth as they can from the country before it all collapses or they get a light slap on the wrist. 🙄
