@GossiTheDog interesting. I tried this, replacing Sam's name with several other people (famous, infamous, and otherwise unknown) who have sexual misconduct allegations pending against them. Copilot isn't allowed to talk about pending misconduct allegations against anyone. Put someone in there whose case has been resolved, say Donald Trump, and it gives you all the information you want.
I don't think it makes much sense for copilot refuse to talk about newsworthy cases, but do you think this particular decision was implemented specifically to protect Sam?
@GossiTheDog weird, that was the first name I tried and while it initially populated the screen it immediately erased it and replaced it with the verboten topic message.
@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social did you see that github's copilot will refuse to autocomplete ANY code which has the word "gender" in it? also several other banned keywords lol
supposedly there are over 1,000 words which it will detect and refuse to operate on...
