An Indigenous man told my (yt) husband that colonization shouldn’t be demonized but celebrated because it brought Jesus to America.

My husband asked if it was okay to fight him.

The amount of times I’ve heard this rhetoric is astounding. This is an intentional disregard of facts which is why there’s no point wasting time arguing with these people.

Your energy is better used elsewhere. Don’t burn yourself out.
