   OTD in 1997, Desmond Howard returned a kickoff 99 yards (at the time the longest kickoff return in Superb Owl history) on his way to earning MVP honors, the only full time punt/kick returner to do so, as The GB Packers took down the NE Patriots 35-21, to win their first Championship in 30 years.

     I like clean scores like that: 35-21. Games today that end 22-11 make me queasy. Not a fan of 2 pt conversions or defenders/backs wearing single digit uniform numbers like in college. Boomer rant over.
