@amalthea it has 1 island that has a goblin civ only theyre like 40000 population sadly.. but i modded the game a lot, just a lot of my own changes, some changes ive stolen from other mods.. but in my game goblins age similarly to dwarves, not immortal.. so its not a huge deal :akko_shrug:
@rat i wish dwarf fortress had an easier way to view culture uniqueness. like, some areas raise different animals, or havent invented clothings or something, & the data is all there but you cant really see it haha
@amalthea yeah & legends mode in the new version got gutted a bit, it already wasnt great.. but you cant view the map or timeline of the world map or anything like that anymore.. hyperlinks & tabs are super nice tho
something i did in my mod is make ALL civilizations have mostly variable values.. still close to vanilla values. for example most dwarven civs will dislike nature still, but some dont mind. but all dwarven civs value craftsmanship at max value..
my mod also has a ton of small changes.. like some rare clothing types for civs like sometimes dwarves wear turbans or whatever. i changed personalities to be less restrictive, if youve ever tried playing a goblin in adventure mode u know what i mean.. most goblins are still very mean but there isnt a hard limit on their personalities anymore
