I think I could learn not to dislike homo sapiens given time, in the same way that one learns to tolerate spiders or a particularly unpalatable vegetable.

However, I should note that unlike homo sapiens, I like most spiders and most vegetables.

And on most days, I find the average spider to be more honorable and trustworthy than most human beings.

And vegetables are generally yummy.
