   Love that this story is being somehow presented as "not as bad" because it wasn't ICE and it was *only* the secret service there to investigate an 11 year old for anti-Trump posts.

     For clarity, there is no viable security reason to investigate an 11 year old for anti-Trump posts, and *officially* speaking, you're allowed to hate Downmarket Mussolini.

     So while it's not the fascism the school expected, it still is VERY much fascism.

     Totally a normal response when the Fuhrer's Pretorian Guard shows up at one of your schools looking to shake down an 11 year old for anti-Trump posts on social media... honest...

     They also followed procedures, so all was well. Great.

     I guess all will still be "well" as soon as those "procedures" change for prompt delivery of any suspects, because that's how the fascists got hold of everybody last time around, i.e. with the help of folks faithfully following orders and procedures.

     @GNUmatic @AnarchoNinaWrites I think about how the Germans had the French police and courts round up Jews for them to exterminate. Tens upon tens of thousands of French police, judges, clerks and other civil servants willfully participated in a legalistic rounding up people for extinguishment in death camps.

     I have a deep distrust of local police, as a frequent historical accomplice of state level evils.
