     @javalps Alright, then there's a library in latest Ubuntu that isn't available in Fedora. You should be able to mount the image using a loop device (sudo mount -o loop), if you could do that and then run ldd on the binary (not AppRun) to see what libraries you're missing and report back; then I can include them in the package.

     @javalps Well, that's weird. I cannot reproduce the issue in a VM, the game starts and runs normally albeit a lack of mouse and MIDI playback. But since the MIDI isn't working perhaps there's something in the sound configuration that might cause the segfaults on your end. I'll have to look into it further, sorry.

     But if you're still interested in the *Eye experience of Nethack, I suggest you install the modern fork Vulture's Eye:

     sudo dnf install nethack-vultures

     @javalps Hey, download the updated AppImage and see if you get the same issue. On a Fresih Fedora 41 it's working as it should now (the mouse is not being captured in my VM but that could be kvm being the culprit)
